Safety precautions, such as masking indoors and physical distancing, will remain in place as Brandon University continues to follow its cautious plan for re-opening as laid out in July.
For the upcoming Fall Term, BU’s Phase Grey mid-level precautions will include a limit of 25 students for most in-person classes, with space for physical distancing maintained.

A Brandon University (BU) student researching early diagnosis of breast cancer is the recipient of a Research Manitoba Master’s Studentship Award.
Braydon Nault, who is studying in BU’s Master of Science (Environmental and Life Sciences) program, will receive $12,000 during the 2021-22 academic year to fund his work.

Scientists will test restoration techniques at a large peatland site in southeastern Manitoba as part of a Brandon University (BU) project supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

NEAR MELITA – Archaeologists from Brandon University (BU) and the Manitoba Archaeological Society (MAS) are continuing their investigation of how Indigenous people lived in southwestern Manitoba before the arrival of Europeans.
Brandon University Department of Anthropology Professor Dr. Mary Malainey and the MAS are working this summer in and around the Olson site, located south of Melita.

UPDATE: Hardware failure has been pinpointed as the cause of a server outage at Brandon University on Wednesday, July 21.
The outage prevented many users from being able to access email. The servers were rebooted and it is believed that email is working properly now.
