BRANDON, Man. – Brandon University’s (BU) outstanding students and the generous donors that help them reach their goals were celebrated on Wednesday night at the annual BU Awards Reception.

BRANDON, MB. — “Success Through Our Eyes: A Photovoice Project” opens at the Gathering Space in the John E. Robbins Library at Brandon University (BU) on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. The exhibit accompanies the launch of the Success Through Our Eyes booklet in which First Nations, Métis and Inuit youth from across Manitoba tell their stories of educational success and leadership.

BRANDON, Man. – In recognition of International Women’s Day, Brandon University (BU) is spending the week saluting some of its outstanding female students.
Members of BU’s faculty and staff were asked to nominate students who have excelled in their studies and provided meaningful contributions to the community.

BRANDON, Man. – It was a whole new ball game for Brandon University (BU) students in the Introduction to Adapted Physical Activity (APA) on Thursday as they welcomed representatives from the Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association (MWSA).
Students in the APA class, part of the Physical Education program, learn about delivering programs for persons with a disability.

We are throwing open our doors at Brandon University (BU) to Grade 11 and 12 students from across the province this month.
“This is our first-ever Open House of this nature and we are really excited to welcome students, parents and family members to BU,” said Tom Brophy, Associate Vice-President (Student Services and Enrolment Management) and University Registrar.

Both recipients of the second-annual IANE bursaries were once again Brandon University students this year.
The bursaries, which first awarded a year ago, are presented annually to post-secondary students of Aboriginal descent in Westman, by the Westman chapter of the Inter-provincial Association of Native Employment.

Brandon University’s student population is climbing as the number of students applying to the post-secondary institution has reached record levels.
“Numbers are looking very strong,” said Tom Brophy, BU’s associate vice-president of student services and enrolment management.

BRANDON, MB – Brandon University (BU) students and researchers are set to display a collection of photographs that show unique interpretations of Aboriginal youth leadership in Success through Our Eyes: A Photovoice Exhibit. The exhibit is part of an overall youth success project to tell the story of First Nations, Métis and Inuit young people across Manitoba.
