Brandon University’s “Community In Action” committee kicked off campus’ annual United Way workplace campaign with a spooky and delicious Halloween Coffee Break.

The potluck-style event brought campus together for cookies, candy, and camaraderie — as well as a few words about the good works done supported by the United Way and information about how to donate through payroll deduction.

The Brandon University Symphonic Band invites the public to join them in a powerful evening of instrument and choir performances tomorrow evening at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium (WMCA) for their Fall concert.  The annual concert will draw hundreds of students together from Brandon U’s School of Music and from across the Westman Region.

An exhibition of new artworks by Brandon University visual artist and Associate Professor Lisa Wood opens this month at the Glen P. Sutherland Gallery of Art, offering an immersive exploration of precarious work, mental health, and family life in rural Manitoba.
