‘Fabric of community’ woven through Confidence Closet success

Brandon University’s inaugural Confidence Closet has demonstrated the power of community partnership in supporting student confidence, access, and sustainability in career preparation.

Delivered as a collaboration between the BU Co-op Program and the Faculty of Education Field Experience Office, the pop-up shopping experience provided students with access to professional attire in a welcoming, low-barrier environment while promoting reuse and responsible consumption.

‘Confidence Closet’ at Brandon University helps students shine in interviews

The Brandon University community is coming together to help students step confidently into upcoming interviews for Co-op opportunities, Field Experience, and early career roles. The BU Confidence Closet, led by the Faculty of Education’s Field Experience Office in partnership with the BU Co-operative Education Program, will provide students with free access to gently used professional clothing.
