Conceived as a way of celebrating the contributions of musicians with significant connections to Western Manitoba, Augustfest X opens Sunday evening August 11 and runs through Friday, August 16, 2019. Concerts will be held each evening in the Lorne Watson Recital Hall on the Brandon University campus.

The free talk by Dr. Susan J. Baserga, titled “Resilience and Ribosomes: Practising Persistence in Life and the Lab,” will take place in the Louis Riel Room at BU, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
