BRANDON, MB – The Bobcats men’s basketball team will host a two-day camp skills camp for youth aged seven to 18 aimed at helping youth improve basketball fundamentals in shooting and the basics of how to play offense.
The camp will be led by Bobcats coach Gil Cheung and feature instruction from athletes Isaiah James, Kyle Vince, Jordan Reaves and Nathan Grant.

MEMBERS OF SIFE NEED LOCAL SUPPORT, ONLINE VOTING
BRANDON, MB – The members of Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) at Brandon University are thrilled to announce their participation in the Pepsi Refresh Program. Pepsi is currently hosting a series of voter-based competitions to give various organizations funding to build projects that benefit their communities.

BRANDON, MB — Tasty Bits is a fundraising venture spearheaded by the students from the Brandon University School of Music’s opera workshop and special guests, including performers from last spring’s acclaimed production of “Albert Herring”.

These bits will be aural treats from the world of musical theatre accompanied by a selection of desserts.

BRANDON, MB — On Saturday, October 30, the Brandon University School of Music will be hosting a masterclass with flutist and educator David Gerry. He will be working with five students from the flute studio of Brandon University’s School of Music, who will present works ranging from the Baroque era to the mid-twentieth century.

BRANDON, MB – Saturday evening, three faculty members of the School of Music and the Conservatory— violinist Kerry DuWors, violist Robert Richardson Jr., and ‘cellist Leanne Zacharias — will be joined on the Lorne Watson Recital Hall stage by two musical friends from Calgary. At this performance, violinist Brinna Brinkerhoff and pianist Jeffrey Neufeld will make their pro series debut.

BRANDON, MB – Next Tuesday evening, flutists Nancy Hennen and David Gerry will reunite on stage for their debut pro series concert, along with pianist Dr. Kyung Kim.  The two often collaborated prior to Hennen’s move to the Brandon University School of Music last year.
The former principal flutist of Symphony Hamilton, Hennen has also played with several other Canadian orchestras.

In preparation for the initiation of its new Master of Psychiatric Nursing (MPN) in January, the Brandon University Board of Governors has approved the graduate program’s tuition fees in the amount of $600 per three (3) credit hour course.
The MPN program is designed for professionals who are seeking advanced practice roles in administration, clinical practice or education.
