Brandon, MB — During the 100th Convocation at Brandon University, four outstanding Canadians will be acknowledged for their efforts and accomplishments, each receiving an honorary doctorate.
Brandon University is pleased to announce the conferral of a Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) upon musician, singer/songwriter, social activist, keynote speaker, visual artist, author, and tradeswoman, Heather Bishop.

BRANDON, MB – After helping their high school team succeed, Turell Scott and Alex Klocek are hoping to carry on their winning ways at the university level, specifically at Brandon University. Both Scott and Klocek have committed to play for the Brandon Bobcats starting in the fall of 2011.
Brandon University and its Board of Governors invite all Brandon University employees, retirees, and their guests to attend the annual Long Service Recognition Event on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. A reception will begin at 2:30 p.m.

BRANDON, MB – The on-court efforts of a pair of former Brandon Bobcats will be recognized and honoured in the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame.
Bobcat alums Whitney Dabney and Keith Vassell were announced as part of the class of 2011 that will be inducted Saturday, October 1 at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg.

BRANDON, MB — During the most recent Brandon University Senate meeting, the members approved a second three-year term — from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2014 — for Chancellor Henry Champ.
“I love it! I’m hoping to be renewed for a third term,” quipped Mr. Champ, who is originally from Hartney and Brandon, but is now based in Washington, D.C.

BRANDON, MB – The list of recruits for the Bobcats women’s volleyball team continues to grow. Head coach Lee Carter is pleased to announce that Jenna Poole will be joining the Bobcats this September.
BRANDON, MB – After years of battling against Brandon high-schools, Shanlee McLennan will soon be playing for Brandon University.
The former River East Kodiaks team captain has committed to the Bobcats.
BRANDON, MB – The coaching staff of the Brandon Bobcats women’s volleyball team has gone west to find their latest recruit. The ‘Cats have signed Brianna Walsh to a letter of intent to play in Brandon next year.
