Fall applications to stay in one of the BU residences will open on May 1 for new students and the university expects spaces to move quickly.

Brandon University has three residences available: Darrach Hall (men inclusive); Flora Cowan (women inclusive) and McMaster Hall (all genders) each offer a unique community feel.

As Brandon University prepares to welcome back students for the Fall Term, in-person services are already being re-opened, and the entire campus will be open for access on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Most services will be available in-person when the Fall Term begins in September, with Phase Grey precautions remaining in effect.

Safety precautions, such as masking indoors and physical distancing, will remain in place as Brandon University continues to follow its cautious plan for re-opening as laid out in July.
For the upcoming Fall Term, BU’s Phase Grey mid-level precautions will include a limit of 25 students for most in-person classes, with space for physical distancing maintained.

Brandon University (BU) Food Services is teaming up with the Brandon Food Council, the John Howard Society and Assiniboine Community College to provide barrier-free nutritious meals for all.
Everyone Eats is a curbside pickup program that will offer top-quality dinners, prepared by BU Food Services. The trial launch of the initiative will provide 200 meals per day for Wednesday June 10, Thursday June 11 and Friday June 12. On these days, individuals will be able to order chef-inspired meals for themselves and their household with payment by confidential donation of $0 to $100. People who are able are encouraged to Meal it Forward by contributing over and above the suggested donation of $8 per meal.

A long awaited furniture renewal in McMaster Hall will benefit more than the students who move into the Brandon University (BU) residence.
The old furniture that made generations of BU students feel at home will continue to be put to good use, helping hundreds of community members.
