First-year students in the Master of Psychiatric Nursing (MPN) program have spent Monday and Tuesday visiting the Brandon University (BU) campus as they prepare for their studies.
Introduced in 2011 as the only program of its kind in Canada, the MPN degree is offered remotely, allowing working pyschiatric nurses from across Canada to further develop their skills and research. Visiting the Brandon campus allows the students to get acquainted with their peers and instructors in the Faculty of Health Studies as they form important relationships that will aid them throughout their program.
