Ready to talk about death? Few people are. Brandon University is hosting a Death Café next week to help people get comfortable in discussing death and mortality.
Brandon University’s Winnipeg campus recently welcomed Elder Betty Ross for a smudge, prayers and a celebration of Orange Shirt Day.
Elder Ross visited the Department of Psychiatric Nursing, in the Faculty of Health Studies at BU’s Winnipeg campus on Sept. 30. She was assisted by Dee Thomas.
There are four full days of fun at Brandon University this weekend as we celebrate Homecoming. Everyone is invited to this celebration of community connection, with a special welcome to alumni, as well as faculty, staff and students.

An award-winning journalist and professor has joined Brandon University (BU) as this year’s Stanley Knowles Distinguished Visiting Professor (SKDVP).
A veteran journalist, who has travelled the world to report on major conflicts, Kiran Nazish will share her experiences through public talks as well as lectures in BU classes.

To give students, staff, and faculty an opportunity to meet the candidates for the Brandon-Souris riding, Brandon University will be hosting a 2019 Canadian Federal Election Town Hall.
The Brandon University community is saddened to learn of the recent passing of three retirees. The flag has been lowered to half-mast and will remain lowered for two days in their honour.
