BRANDON, MB – A capacity crowd is expected to participate this week in the annual Graduation Pow Wow at Brandon University (BU), a celebration involving singing, dancing and a giant pot of wild meat stew.

BRANDON, MB – With drumming, singing and dancers in regalia, Aboriginal students from Brandon University (BU) were honoured during the annual Graduation Pow Wow on Wednesday, May 29th in the Henry Champ Gymnasium, Health Living Centre.

The event drew more than 250 people, including grads and their families, elders, Brandon Mayor Shari Decter Hirst, Brandon Police Service Chief Ian Grant, BU dignitaries and community members.
