BRANDON, MB – Brandon University (BU) will honour two alumni with Lifetime Achievement Awards during the 2014 Convocation on May 30.
Florence Brownridge (BA ’49, BSW ’51, MS Social Work ’58)
Florence Brownridge graduated Brandon College in 1949, and pursued a distinguished career in social work in both Canada and the US. Doug Adams devoted nearly 20 consecutive years of volunteer service to BU in a number of capacities, following his graduation in 1987.
“In their own ways, each of these recipients has demonstrated exceptional, long-time service to Brandon University and its values,” says BU President and Vice-Chancellor, Deborah Poff.
