BRANDON, MB – Pat Alvestad has been named the recipient of the of the President’s Award for the month of September 2009.
Before retiring from Brandon University on September 18, 2009, Pat Alvestad devoted 21 years to helping students, staff, and faculty move gracefully through the maze of rules, regulations, and processes.

BRANDON , MB – As part of their continued partnership, Assiniboine Community College (ACC) and Brandon University (BU) signed an articulation agreement today benefiting students in the Police Studies program and the Crime and Community program at each respective academic institution.
The agreement allows ACC Police Studies graduates credit for courses taken to go towards the three or four-year Bachelor of Arts, Crime and Community degree at BU. ACC will reciprocate this agreement by allowing BU graduates to transfer 18 credit hours towards the eight-month Police Studies certificate as well.
