In preparation for the initiation of its new Master of Psychiatric Nursing (MPN) in January, the Brandon University Board of Governors has approved the graduate program’s tuition fees in the amount of $600 per three (3) credit hour course.
The MPN program is designed for professionals who are seeking advanced practice roles in administration, clinical practice or education.

LORNE WATSON (1919 – 2010)
  Lorne Watson was Director of Music at Brandon College/University from 1948 to 1981. A pivotal figure in Brandon and Manitoba, he was a major presence in Canadian music until his death at age 90 in January, 2010.

BRANDON, MB – Dr. David Greenwood from Brandon University, coordinator of BU’s Environmental Science program, was involved in a study that shows the tropics owe their biodiversity to consistent year-round temperatures, not higher temperatures or more sunlight as previously thought. The findings were presented this week in the journal Paleobiology .

  For his accomplishments as a concert violinist, who began violin studies at the age of four and who has received acclaim both in Canada and abroad.

BRANDON, MB – Brandon University is proud to announce that Dr. Alex Michalos has been appointed a Member of the Order of Canada by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada.
  He received the honour for his contributions to the social sciences, notably in research that has helped to measure the quality-of-life in Canada and abroad.
