Brandon University’s Breast Cancer Cell and Molecular Research Laboratory, led by Dr. Mousumi Majumder, has received remarkable news.

The Waves of Hope dragon boat team, which is made up of breast cancer survivors, announced recently that they plan to raise $150,000 in the coming years to support the laboratory’s important work.

CBC Manitoba was there to cover the announcement, which took place at the team’s Day of Hope and Education, held at BU’s Harvest Hall.
