Brandon Police Service has notified Brandon University that they are undertaking a planned, tactical training exercise today near campus.
Expect what looks like a heavy police presence on the 200-block of 21st Street this morning. This is planned exercise and not an emergency event. You should not be alarmed by this police presence this morning.
For those who commute by car to campus, this area is a popular street for near-campus parking. If this is your typical option for parking, please plan to find an alternate spot.
