Brandon University will host a series of community conversations to explore plans and options for the downtown site with faculty, staff and students.
The first set of on-campus consultations have been scheduled for Tuesday, January 9 in the Louis Riel Room.

Several Brandon University buildings will be without power for up to two hours on Thursday afternoon, during a coordinated switchover of high-voltage power.
Manitoba Hydro will be on site for the switchover, which is planned for 1 p.m.
BRANDON – An anonymous couple has found a fitting, and very generous, way to recognize Brandon University’s (BU’s) 50th year.
The couple gifted shares to the University valued at approximately $50,000. Written on the donation form was, “Happy Birthday BU!”
“Brandon University is a high-quality jewel, a treasure,” said one of the donors.
Brandon University staff and faculty helped raise more than $3,600 for the Brandon-Westman Christmas Cheer at this year’s Holiday Luncheon.
The money comes from a 50/50 draw as well as a basket raffle for which university departments put together enticing gift baskets that are on display leading up to the luncheon.
