BRANDON, MB – One of Canada’s largest privately owned asset management firms is pledging $100,000 to assist business administration students at Brandon University (BU).
The Connor, Clark & Lunn Scholarship-Bursary in Business Administration will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need to a full-time returning student in any year of the Bachelor of Business Administration Program or Business Administration major.

“Our university has enjoyed a long association with Connor, Clark and Lunn,” says BU President and Vice-Chancellor Deborah Poff. “This new scholarship is a wonderful recognition of their commitment to our students’ success.”
The Connor, Clark & Lunn Scholarship-Bursary in Business Administration is expected to generate an award of $4,500 annually, contributing to the $1.2 million dollars in scholarships and bursaries available each year to BU students. Previously, the company established the Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Bursary in Music, an award of $2,800 each year.
“Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is pleased to support Brandon University’s business administration students in achieving their full potential,” says Larry Lunn, Chairman of Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group. “The University’s Business Administration program combines core business curriculum with exposure to liberal arts and sciences resulting in a well-rounded education. We are a proud supporter of Brandon University and their long history of excellence in education.”
Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is responsible for the investment of over $46 billion in financial assets on behalf of institutional, private and retail clients. The Connor, Clark & Lunn Foundation was created in 1999 to fund programs and not-for-profit organizations that promote a better environment, improvements to education, advances in science and medicine, stronger communities and the arts. Brandon University, founded in 1899, promotes excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship; educating students so that they can make a meaningful difference as engaged citizens and leaders.
