Brandon dodged the worst impacts of the blizzard, but this morning still saw high winds, challenging road conditions, difficult or impassable sidewalks with blown-in drifts, and a closed Trans-Canada Highway. We are thankful that we made the prudent choice yesterday to close campus yesterday evening and this morning.
Although the season’s first winter storm has delivered snow, high winds, and highway closures, Brandon University is OPEN today.
However, some offices may experience limited hours or reduced staffing, and individual classes and meetings may be cancelled or adjusted.
Ongoing severe weather conditions and extensive road closures means that Brandon University’s main campus in Brandon will be closed today (Monday, March 4) and CLASSES ARE CANCELLED.
Most offices and campus services will be closed, and unavailable.
