Brandon University staff and faculty dressed up in their best costume to support the Brandon and District United Way at the BU Community in Action Halloween Coffee Break.
The Golden Pumpkin for Best Costume was awarded to DawnDena “Peacock”
The treats were tasty, the costumes were fantastic and representatives from the United Way gave a few brief words about the organization and shared some impact stories.
Faculty and staff at BU came together with spooky, fun, and creative costumes to share treats along with support for the Brandon & District United Way at a mid-morning coffeebreak.
Employees of Brandon University can choose to donate to the United Way through online pledge forms, which include an option for payroll deduction.
A Halloween costume celebration at Brandon University will pay it forward to a future holiday.
The “Halloween Howl” event will take place at BU’s Harvest Hall on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 2–4 p.m.
