BRANDON, MB – Two professors from Brandon University’s (BU) Faculty of Health Studies Psychiatric Nursing program have collaborated on a new book aimed at supporting caregivers in the mental health field. Supporting Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Illness, co-authored by Debra Dusome and John Simpson (retired), explores topics of interest to those that provide care for individuals with co-occurring intellectual disabilities and mental illness.

Brandon University is the latest Canadian campus to embrace gender-neutral washrooms for students and faculty.
Just in time for the 2015-2016 school year, the university has established 14 single-stall, accessible washrooms, in addition to the one already available in the Healthy Living Centre.
BRANDON, MB – The academic year begins next week with over 500 new students and 2,500 returning students embarking on a new fall term at Brandon University (BU). The first day of class is Wednesday, September 9th, but students will begin getting orientated Tuesday, September 8th.
