Brandon University alumnus Chris Hunt has been named one of Brandon’s Top 4 Under 40 by the Brandon Chamber of Commerce at their Business Achievement Awards evening this week.
Hunt, who serves as the current President of both the BU Alumni Association and the BU Foundation and has also taught sessionally in the Political Science Department, said that it was an honour to be recognized alongside so many talented business and community leaders.
“For me, it’s a pat on the back but also encouragement to keep working on building up this great community we all share,” he said, specifically thanking BU Political Science chair Kelly Saunders as one of his mentors.
“The Chamber has been a truly welcoming and open space to do more and do better for Westman,” he added. “The night was an inspiring reminder of just what we can do when we work together, so I will keep striving to build Brandon through my passions for higher education and work with our military community.”
