Student fair at BU explores child and adolescent health

A room full of people gathered around desks with display backboards on them
The Child and Adolescent Health Fair at Brandon University featured displays from 56 Bachelor of Nursing students.

Brandon University (BU) nursing students shared their research on a wide range of children’s health topics at an informational fair on Friday morning.

Hosted by the Child and Adolescent Health course in the Faculty of Health Studies, this year’s fair featured 56 students, an increase from the first fair a year ago. They took questions from judges and visitors from the community, including parents and health care professionals.

The students, who are in the third year of the Bachelor of Nursing program, chose their projects on topics of interest to them, ranging from diseases prevalent among children to vaccines, nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
