The entire Brandon University community offers our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Doug Palson, following his passing yesterday.
Palson, who was Chief of Police of the Manitoba First Nations Police Service, had longstanding personal and family ties to Brandon University, including the earning of a graduate diploma in education in 2010. He had also begun a Master of Education degree through BU. Throughout his career, Chief Palson modeled professional policing practices that reflected his thoughtful, caring personality.
Our hearts are with Chief Palson’s family and friends as they cope with this tragic loss.
