Campus Manitoba logoCampus Manitoba’s new online home, at campusmanitoba.ca, makes it easier for learners and educators to find the resources that they need. Those include the traditional online courses, as well as new options including open textbooks and “Set Your Course,” an interactive tool that lets learners figure out which education will help them get to their career goals. Coming soon is Transfer Manitoba, a database of equivalent courses at colleges and universities, allowing students to more easily transfer credits from one to another.

“For over 25 years, we have been engaged in supporting online education in Manitoba,” says Dave Neale, Executive Director of Campus Manitoba. “Now, we are expanding our support for student mobility in a number of significant ways. This new visual identity helps establish the variety of projects we’re involved with.”

Along with a central hub at campusmanitoba.ca, the online resources are available at:

  • eCourses MB — online learning with a virtual help desk: ecampusmanitoba.com
  • Set Your Course — interactive resource showcasing careers and educational pathways: setyourcourse.ca
  • OpenEd MB — Open textbooks and other open resources online: openedmb.ca
  • Transfer MB — credit transfer information for courses and programs at Manitoba’s public universities and colleges: Coming soon.

“These are all projects that we’ve been working on for a while, and really show how the Province’s commitment to student access and mobility has grown,” Neale says. “They’re all under the umbrella of Campus Manitoba, which demonstrates how much value there is for learners when universities and colleges collaborate and students know how to access the best from each institution.”

Campus Manitoba is a consortium of Manitoba’s public post-secondary institutions. Through collaborative projects and shared services, we facilitate student mobility and expand access to post-secondary programs for students in Manitoba.
