Keynote speaker Dr. Bill Reimer introduces the new Rural Policy Learning Commons project to a dozen leaders of research centres across Canada. He called for more active exchanges among centres in Canada and with other OECD countries.
Dr. John Devlin, Guelph University, explored ways to use crowd sourcing for monitoring the expected $600B in northern resource extraction investment. Both Bill and John are involved in the 7 year SSHRC project host at Brandon University Rural Development Institute-RPLC.
