Bobcats Unveil 2010-2011 Academic All-Canadians

BRANDON, MB – The 2010-2011 school year proved to be one of the most successful seasons in the classroom for Bobcat student-athletes. Fifteen Bobcats were awarded CIS Academic All-Canadian status last year, the highest number to be given the award in recent memory.

“It’s great to see students being successful, and being positive role models in our community” says Russ Paddock, Brandon University’s Acting Athletic Director. “Brandon University Athletics is proud to support our student-athletes in their academic endeavours as well as in their respective sport.”

The accolade is given student-athletes who attain a GPA of 3.7 or higher while maintaining a full-course load and competing in the CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport). The award winners are:
